Simon Amstell sitcom: I can’t see the television, there is too much FAIL in the way.

I mean seriously, this is terrible. How did this ever get made? It's such a shame so many good comedy actors are in this… and then Simon Amstell comes along with his comedy writing and acting and the story ends there. Wooden, far too fast dialogue, like watching an over-enthusiastic standup doing a read through of the script for the first time. There really are no jokes, but not in a clever 'oh life's just like that' way. I think I can pick out the points where we're intended to be laughing… just about. The irony isn't very ironic, or funny. The premise doesn't work either… I can't even string together enough proper sentences to convey my displeasure.??

Apparently if you give it a chance, it improves in the second episode. No, I won't be watching.??
