Soldier’s Joy

The other day I posted a recording of me trying out the fiddle / banjo tune Soldier’s Joy after working it out the day before from watching other Youtube recordings.??

As per usual I also sent it to Pat Costello so it was featured on his blog, oh and Banjo Hangout too.??
Most excitingly, someone commented…

‘This is fantastic, makes me want to go back and listen to that Smithsonian Folk Music recording. It reminds me of Clarence Ashley or Pete Steele. Or Bascom Lamar Lunsford.

For me, both of those comparisons mean a lot.????Anyway one of the other requests was for the tab of the song, so I laboriously wrote it out. Here it is.??
