Red dust over Sydney

Sounds like a title to a Cronenbourg film or something doesn’t it? Or maybe an award winning book (by award winning I mean, pretentious, telling the story of a family over several generations and unreadable).

Actually, it’s just the latest post from Flickr’s blog which trawls the best of Flickr: http://blog.flickr.net/en/2009/09/22/red-dust-over-sydney/

Some great atmospheric shots there. Annoying as it must be for the people in Sydney, why does nothing spectacular like this ever happen in the UK, much less Birmingham?
